Top 3 Considerations When Remodeling A Pool
To get the most enjoyment from your pool, you will need to finish the pool off both practically and aesthetically. There are 3 main steps to decide about your pool renovation.
Resurfacing - Diamond Brite
Resurfacing your pool gives you the opportunity to repair any leaks, cracks or uneven areas of its interior. Many older pools will have a classic plaster surface which you could update to an aggregate (Diamond Brite). Upgrading the surface also enables you to change the appearance of your pool’s water through different color combinations.
Waterline
Finishing a swimming pool with waterline tiles instead of tiling the entire interior is a popular choice. It is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is also a cost-effective option. The waterline is where the pool water meets the tile edge
coping
Pool coping is the term used to identify the material used for the capping or edging that is placed around the swimming pool shell wall.
Coping separates the swimming pool shell from the surrounding surface area and helps to protect the pool structure. Coping is designed to stop water from getting behind the pool shell and, if coping is installed properly, water that is splashed out should flow away from the pool and down into the nearby drains.
